Press Release: Knights of Columbus Assist Birthright of Nevada in Relocation
On the sweltering morning of June 23, the Knights of Columbus stepped in to lend a hand as the Birthright of Nevada kicked off its move to a new location at 330 N. Main St. Volunteers, including Bruce Haberkorn, Roger Rotert, Richard Schuster, and Chuck Horvath, worked diligently to secure items from the previous headquarters, with Birthright Director Colleen Haberkorn overseeing the placement of equipment.
Birthright of Nevada continues its vital mission of providing free resources and support to mothers and their children, now settling into a fresh environment. While the new address is recognized as part of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Director Haberkorn clarified that Birthright operates independently, renting two rooms within the church for its facilities.
The transition signifies a new chapter for Birthright of Nevada, ensuring that the essential services remain accessible to the community. For more details on this event and the organization’s ongoing initiatives, readers can check the print or online editions of the Nevada Daily Mail.
