PR-DC and Raven Advisory Join Forces to Manufacture Military Drones in the U.S.
Belgrade, Serbia – June 7, 2025 – In a significant move for the defense sector, PR-DC, Serbia’s premier multicopter drone manufacturer, has partnered with Raven Advisory, a North Carolina-based defense contractor, to establish a strategic joint venture named “USAT.” This collaboration will focus on the production of military-grade drones for domestic and international markets.
The partnership was formalized in Belgrade, where PR-DC co-founder Zeljko Mitrovic and Sheffield Ford, founder of Raven Advisory, signed the agreement. Accompanying them was Milos Petrasinovic, co-founder and aerospace engineer of PR-DC. This venture marks PR-DC’s first confirmed international business agreement and significantly expands both companies’ operational capabilities.
Under the terms of the agreement, PR-DC retains ownership of its intellectual property while continuing production in Serbia. The joint venture will establish manufacturing and testing facilities at Raven’s 2,700-acre site in North Carolina. Raven will also manage sales and distribution for PR-DC’s military drones, including the IKA-BOMBER, designed to meet U.S. defense standards.
Mitrovic emphasized PR-DC’s dedication to innovation, noting that the IKA-BOMBER’s modular design caters to various mission requirements and is primarily built with Western-sourced components for NATO compatibility. Ford praised the partnership’s potential, stating that PR-DC provides integrated operational solutions rather than just hardware.
The new venture aims to showcase its capabilities through demonstrations at Raven’s facility later this year, specifically targeting U.S. Department of Defense and international clients. This collaboration aligns with both companies’ commitment to advancing drone technology in rigorous operational settings, reinforcing their position in the competitive defense landscape.
