Doctors Aim to Revitalize Former Carson Medical Group Site
Carson City, NV – On April 25, a vision for revitalization emerged at 1200 Mountain St., once home to the Carson Medical Group (CMG), which recently relocated. Dr. Dhaval Shah, an infectious disease and wound care specialist from Las Vegas, purchased the property for over $1 million and envisions a comprehensive medical hub that combines primary care and specialized services.
Shah, alongside partner Dr. Dhiraj Narula, aims to attract specialized services such as rheumatology and sports medicine, along with a radiology office and pharmacy—all under one roof to enhance patient convenience. “The key is to provide all medical services in one location, significantly cutting down patients’ time,” Shah stated.
Community involvement is a priority, with Shah open to other uses for the site, including educational opportunities. Having ventured into real estate in 2010, Shah has a proven track record with over 40 projects nationwide. A half-million dollars will be invested in upgrades, including new paint and LED lighting, with leasing assistance from LOGIC Commercial Real Estate.
