NDOT Announces Overnight Lane Closures for Freeway Signage Update in Las Vegas Valley
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has released a new schedule for overnight lane closures as part of a major project to upgrade freeway signage throughout the Las Vegas Valley. This initiative will involve replacing I-515 signs with I-11 signs on I-11, U.S. 95, U.S. 93, I-215, and several local roads, from Henderson to Kyle Canyon Road.
Starting from Sunday, May 11, to Monday, May 12, lane reductions will occur on northbound I-15 from Oakey Blvd to the "Spaghetti Bowl" from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., including closures of the Neon Gateway HOV on-ramps. Similar lane restrictions will be in place every night through Friday, May 16, with the northbound Charleston Blvd on-ramp to I-15 also closed during this period.
To minimize traffic disruptions, work will be limited to a 5-mile zone each night, and all schedules are subject to weather conditions. For further updates, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before traveling. For questions, reach out to NDOT at (775) 888-7000.
