Reno’s Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) is set to undergo a transformative $1 billion redevelopment project after the Reno Redevelopment Agency Board approved tax-increment financing in a 5-2 vote. The initiative includes a striking $435 million arena, with a 10,000-capacity venue aimed to host Nevada men’s basketball games starting in fall 2027.
