Titomic Partners with REPKON USA to Advance Defense Manufacturing Technology
Huntsville, AL – Titomic has announced a new partnership with REPKON USA, focusing on joint research, development, and testing of Kinetic Fusion applications in cannon barrels, gun barrels, and warheads. This agreement, recently signed, replaces a previously agreed Turkish joint venture and establishes a collaborative framework within the United States to enhance the integration of Titomic’s innovative cold spray technology into REPKON USA’s expanding product lines.

Dr. Patricia Dare, President of Titomic USA, expressed enthusiasm about commencing research activities at their Huntsville facility. She highlighted the partnership’s goal of delivering field-ready solutions that enhance mission readiness and extend the life of military assets, enhancing the U.S. allied industrial base with next-generation manufacturing capabilities.
The collaboration will also focus on leveraging Kinetic Fusion technology for in-field repairs to restore military equipment to its original state more swiftly. This capability aims to provide warfighters with vital support within battlefield or training environments. In addition to repairs, the partnership will explore advanced coatings for REPKON USA barrels, enhancing performance and maintaining a competitive edge.
