Healthcare Impact Alliance Partners with Mendock Technology for Enhanced Emergency Response
London, GB – April 29, 2025 – The Healthcare Impact Alliance (HIA) has announced a strategic partnership with Mendock Technology Co., Ltd., a leading provider of smart security solutions, to integrate advanced smart locks into its Lifeline connected healthcare ecosystem. This collaboration is set to enhance emergency response capabilities for healthcare providers and first responders.
The integration will utilize HIA’s WiFi 6 technology to connect Mendock’s smart locks with the Lifeline platform, enabling automated emergency access protocols. This feature allows first responders to gain quick and secure entry into homes during medical emergencies, minimizing property damage.
Duke Lin, Director of Mendock Technology, highlighted the aging population as a significant market opportunity, emphasizing that smart security solutions are essential for allowing seniors to age safely at home. "Our partnership with HIA gives us access to cutting-edge technology, fundamentally transforming our ability to serve the senior care market," he stated.
Craig Smith, Executive Director of HIA, confirmed the commitment to developing a comprehensive connected healthcare environment. He noted that the integration will set new standards for emergency response efficiency and patient safety.
Key features of the integrated solution include secure, automated emergency access protocols, real-time monitoring, remote authorization by healthcare providers, and enhanced security measures. Distribution and implementation will be managed by Connect America, further extending their partnership with HIA.
The smart lock integration is expected to be part of the Lifeline solution launching in the fourth quarter of 2025, with full deployment anticipated throughout 2026.
