Press Release: Give a Holiday Gift to Youth in Need in Nevada County
Posted on: November 27, 2024
Nevada County Child Welfare Services is once again asking the community to help bring joy to local youth in need. This holiday season, the agency has set up 10 Giving Trees throughout the area, featuring tags that specify the wishes, interests, and ages of 258 children who are in foster care or involved with various support services.
Community members are encouraged to select a tag and purchase a gift that aligns with the child’s interests. This initiative not only spreads holiday cheer but also helps foster a sense of community and support for vulnerable youth.
The Giving Trees serve as a vital reminder of the spirit of giving during the holiday season, and participation offers a meaningful way to make a difference in a child’s life.
To participate, visit one of the designated Giving Trees, and help brighten the holidays for a deserving youth in Nevada County.
For more information about the program and locations of the Giving Trees, please contact Nevada County Child Welfare Services or visit their official website. Your generous contribution can truly change the life of a child in need this holiday season.
