The Tahoe Knight Monsters are set to kick off their playoff series against the Wichita Thunder tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. The Knights, securing the third seed in the Mountain Division of the Western Conference, finished the regular season with 88 points from 72 games. As one of 16 teams making the playoffs, the Monsters are guaranteed at least two home games at the Tahoe Blue Events Center, scheduled for Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The team aims to be the first to four wins in the best-of-seven series, advancing to face the winner of the Kansas City-Tulsa matchup.
In an impressive showcase of resilience, the Nevada Wolf Pack softball team clinched a thrilling walk-off victory over Utah State, coming back from a 7-1 deficit to win 8-7. After struggling in the early innings, Nevada rallied with a strong fifth and sixth inning, ultimately scoring the winning run in the seventh.
