Carson City Post Office Invites Submissions for Custom Nevada Day Postmark Designs

The Carson City Post Office is currently accepting submissions for a new postmark design to celebrate Nevada Day. Postmaster Daniel Adams is seeking imaginative artwork inspired by this year’s parade theme, “Wild Wild West,” or that embodies the spirit of Nevada. Submissions are being accepted until May 31, with design restrictions of 4×2 inches and clear graphics for reproduction. The postmark must include specific information, such as the Nevada Day Station, Carson City, and the date of October 31, 2025. Submission forms can be requested via phone or email and should be mailed to the Carson City Post Office. Nevada Day is a holiday celebrating the state’s admission to the union, observed at the end of October each year with a parade in Carson City. The postmark competition offers an opportunity for local artists to showcase their creativity and contribute to the celebration of Nevada’s heritage.
