The East Noble School District in Kendallville, Indiana recently made the decision to move to Transfinder’s cloud-based Routefinder PLUS platform to enhance their transportation operation. Josh Buhro, the transportation director, led the transition and found that PLUS was a game-changer for the district serving 4,000 students. The district had previously used Transfinder’s Routefinder Pro solution before upgrading to PLUS in 2024.
The move to PLUS proved to be highly beneficial for the district, providing a more user-friendly, efficient, and responsive platform. Buhro and his team received valuable training from Transfinder University, allowing them to quickly adapt to the new platform. One of the advantages of PLUS was its seamless integration with other Transfinder tools like Tripfinder and Viewfinder, which helped streamline communication and management of field trips and extracurricular activities.
With the success of the PLUS implementation, the district is now exploring additional Transfinder tools such as Wayfinder and Stopfinder to further improve their transportation operation. Buhro emphasized the importance of ensuring these tools integrate smoothly with their existing processes and expressed confidence in the support provided by the Transfinder team.
Overall, the transition to Transfinder’s PLUS platform has strengthened East Noble’s transportation system, leading to a more efficient and resilient operation that better serves students, staff, and the community.
