The Nevada Men’s Golf team finished 25th at The Goodwin tournament in Palo Alto, Calif. Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae led the final round with a one over-par 71, finishing 113th overall. Aaron Leach was the best finisher for the Wolf Pack at 88th place, with a final round 73. Jonathan Kim and Liam Gobin also contributed to the team’s performance. Ben Ortwein struggled in the final round but made two birdies. Nevada will next compete in the El Macero Classic hosted by UC Davis in Davis, California from April 11-13. The team leaderboard for The Goodwin was led by UCLA, followed by Colorado, Northwestern, BYU, and SMU rounding out the top five. Individually, Omar Morales from UCLA finished first. Overall, the tournament provided valuable experience for the Nevada team as they continue to grow and compete in collegiate golf.
