In a hard-fought match, Utah State women’s tennis team faced off against No. 55-ranked Nevada but ultimately fell 4-1 at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club in Logan, Utah. Freshmen Maria Paula Ramos Garcia and Kylee Sperry gave the Aggies an early lead in doubles play, but Nevada fought back to take the doubles point and a 1-0 lead in the match. In singles play, Nevada quickly went up 3-0 before senior Indya Nespor secured a win for Utah State at the second position. Despite Ramos Garcia battling in a tight three-set match at the fourth court, the Aggies were unable to overcome the 55th-ranked Wolf Pack. Utah State will conclude their 2025 home schedule next week, hosting Wyoming and celebrating Senior Day against Colorado State. Fans can follow the team on social media for updates. Overall, it was a tough match for the Aggies against a strong opponent, but they showed resilience and determination throughout.
