Blackrock Silver Corp. Reports Promising Drilling Results at Tonopah West Project
Vancouver, BC – Blackrock Silver Corp. (OTCQX: BKRRF) has announced significant assay results from its ongoing M&I Conversion drilling program at the Tonopah West project in Nevada. The highlights reveal multiple high-grade mineralization zones with silver equivalent (AgEq) intercepts reaching as high as 6,064.4 g/t AgEq, showcasing the potential of the project.
The company’s drilling program, which has successfully completed 32 out of 40 planned holes, aims to convert approximately 1.5 million tonnes of material into the measured and indicated resource category. So far, assays for 27 of these holes indicate remarkable grades, including notable intercepts of 5.03 metres at 774.5 g/t AgEq and 2.01 metres at 1,783 g/t AgEq.
Andrew Pollard, President and CEO of Blackrock, emphasized the consistent identification of high-grade zones throughout the Merten vein system, which spans depths from 137 to 367 metres. The program will continue through Q1 2025, with additional drillholes planned to explore promising areas identified from initial results.
Despite some drill holes returning values below the 150 g/t AgEq cut-off, the ongoing drilling program remains fully funded and operational, with results expected to further elucidate the continuity of the high-grade zones. The challenges posed by voids encountered during drilling have not deterred progress, as additional core tails are being drilled weekly.
